Monthly Summary: April 2021

Welcome to another Monthly Summary on Pages and Tea.

If last month was fairly quiet on my blog then this month has been extremely quiet. I haven’t posted since April’s Booking Ahead post, and I’ve really fallen behind with blog hopping.
I have managed to fit in some reading though…

I’ve finished only one book this month, but what a good one! My Dark Tower reread is ongoing, and the third book in the series, The Waste Lands, has been occupying my reading time. So much going on, so much action, so much mystery. I’m really glad I decided to revisit this series because there is a lot that I don’t remember. It’s the volume that sees the group visit the city of Lud, and I only had the vaguest recollections of what happened there (and I can’t give anything away because that wouldn’t be fair, would it?), so I’m enjoying this reread very much.

I think that’s about all for this month, so although it’s a short summary here’s what happened in April on Pages and Tea…

Well, you’re doing better than I ever did with TDT! lol. I struggled with reading one a YEAR (read during Kingtober) and then I didn’t read one at all last year. I did read up to The Waste Lands. Your enthusiasm has me wanting to pick up Wizard and Glass! It *would* be nice to add them to my finished series list this year…

Oh it’s not really a “thing” as far as I know. I just have been calling October Kingtober for a few years and trying to make my reading focus King books. I’m sure others do the same, I can’t have made it up. lol.
