Monthly Summary: September 2019

Welcome back to another Monthly Summary on Pages and Tea.

September, the month that saw a change in the air and it finally became a little cooler. Autumn is here and Readers Imbibing Peril is happening now and throughout October. What better time to pick up the latest Stephen King novel? But I’m getting ahead of myself now; The Institute is my current and read and will no doubt feature again in next month’s summary.
During September I spent much of my reading time in the Empire of Salt, following the adventures and trials faced by the city of Darien as it came under attack from a variety of powerful enemies.
I also ventured into the eerie world of Marjorie and Merry in A Head Full of Ghosts. It’s a book that’s been on my TBR list for a long time and so I’ve also added to my Beat the Backlist challenge this month.

Top Ten Tuesday provided me with a chance to glance ahead to the coming months of reading and pick out some potential reads for my favourite season.

Here’s what happened on Pages and Tea…
