Booking Ahead: June 2019

Booking Ahead is a feature on Pages and Tea where I glance through my never-ending TBR list/pile and select a few potential reads for the coming month. If I’m not reading books I love talking about books I’d like to read, so this post is a perfect excuse to do just that.

A new month, another chance to explore my TBR list/pile, which is, as usual, far too long and always expanding! Here are a few of the books I’d like to try and read this month.

New Books

A Book of Bones by John Connolly

Twisted by Steve Cavanagh

Conviction by Denise Mina

The Furies by Katie Lowe

Books from the Backlist

Circe by Madeline Miller – I’ve had this one on my TBR pile for so long that it’s moved from the New Books into the Backlist section! I have no excuse for why it’s never found it’s way to the top of the pile yet, because it sounds so good.

What are you hoping to read this month? Have you read of my picks, and if so what did you think?
See you again next month for another Booking Ahead.

I’m currently half way through Circe and it’s PHENOMENAL! You should definitely give it a try. Although, be aware that it might be one of those good books that put the readers in the reading slump… (at least I’m feeling it creeping up on me atm)
