Welcome to another Monthly Summary on Pages and Tea.
Time to meander once more through the past month of blogging and reading.
The change in the air, the promise of autumn and the start of Readers Imbibing Peril saw me finally reaching for the latest Stephen King, The Outsider. A man accused of murder and publicly arrested actually has a pretty tight alibi that should prove his innocence. How can someone be in two places at once?
I was back in the company of M. Poirot, this time courtesy of author Sophie Hannah, who has taken on the challenge of continuing the adventures of Agatha Christie’s famous detective.
I finally picked up a book that’s been on my TBR pile for a while – The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock, which I’m about half way through at the moment.
In other news Top Ten Tuesday provided me with two perfect opportunities to look back on a few of the best book I’ve read recently, and to glance ahead at books I hope to read during my favourite season.
Here’s what happened on Pages and Tea…
